All children need everyday heroes in their lives. Whether it is a neighbor, a friend, a teacher or someone else, children need many heroes who work to make a child's life special.
Each year, Prevent Child Abuse Utah presents the Child Advocate of the Year Award to outstanding individuals or businesses who are dedicated to making a difference in the life of a child. Last year, PCAU named this award after Anne Freimuth, who was the executive director of PCAU for nearly 10 years. We are now proud to announce that the award is called the Anne Freimuth Child Advocate of the Year Award.
PCAU is currently accepting nominations for the 2012 Child Advocate of the Year Award. To nominate someone you know who has been a hero to a child or children, please complete the nomination form by March 12, 2012. Award recipients will be announced in April as Utah takes part in National Child Abuse Prevention Month.
